Sky-light

Sky-light shading is a technically perfect and aesthetically elaborate system of outdoor shading. One of its extraordinary advantages is the original method of permanent stretching of shading fabric and indefinitely adjustable joints through which the systems can copy the shape of broken glazed surfaces. Sky-light shading is an unbeatable anti-heat shield.

Product description

The system consists of shading fabric, an aluminium box, lateral guiding laths and the front profiled bar with stretching gear. The closed front section bar hides a revolutionary system of springs that ensure that the fabric is tightly stretched in any position. In systems covering broken shapes the lateral guiding laths are supplemented with joints that are indefinitely adjustable within the range of 90° to 180°.

Materials

The structure is manufactured of high-grade corrosion-resistant materials. For the box, lateral laths and the front section bar an aluminium alloy is used. Colour of applied paint will be adjusted to satisfy the customer’s request according to the RAL colour range.

Fabrics

Either acryl-based awning cloths or a special fabric Soltis are used as the shading material. Awning cloths woven of acryl fibres are non-transparent and available in a broad selection of patterns and colours; they are resistant to fading, mould, decomposition, water and solar radiation. Soltis is a revolutionary material allowing an adequate view outwards but, thanks to its structure, retaining thermal radiation and thus preventing the interior from overheating.

Control

A pipe-type electric motor for voltage 230V is used for the actuation of the system enabling controlled coasting of the fabric into the box. Control by a push-button or a remote controller. In order to enable complete exploitation and to enhance protection of the system we recommend to supplement the sky-light appliance with a sun/wind-based automatic control.

Maintenance

Sky-light is a shading appliance of top quality that does not need any maintenance. For current cleaning of both the structure and the fabric we recommend to use pure water only without chemical agents.
