Product description

Described in a simplified way, exterior roller shutters consist of the functional surface created by slats brought together, of a top box containing a wind-up shaft and of guiding side laths. Individual slats are made of two-layer aluminium sheets stuffed with polyurethane foam for reinforcement and insulation.

Materials

The top box made of aluminium is manufactured in several shapes and sizes. Also the side boards are made of high-grade aluminium as well as the bottom closing lath. All these components are provided with a baking paint in a RAL colour shade according to your request.

Slats

Aluminium two-layer slats satisfy extreme demands on quality, stability, sound and thermal insulation and enhanced security. They are manufactured in several widths, the most requested sizes being 37 mm and 40 mm respectively. You may make your choice from a broad offer of colour shades, e.g. slats made of wood imitation have a very interesting appearance.

Control

Exterior roller shutters of customary size (up to 2,5 sq.m. approximately) can be controlled manually by means of a string or a flat fabric ribbon extended into the room interior.

No doubt, however, the full benefit and user comfort will be attained if you supplement the roller shutter with electric control. A 230V driving motor fitted inside the shaft can be controlled either by means of a portable remote controller or a wall-mounted push-button.
