Exterior roller blinds

Exterior shadowing is much more efficient than an indoor temperature control system as it catches solar radiation well before its incidence on the window pane or the façade. Thus, the materials do not warm up and secondary heat radiation is prevented from intruding into the room. Exterior Screen roller blinds are among the modern and reliable shadowing systems that ensure a pleasant temperature in the interior and help create the optimum light conditions both for the work and relaxation. This can also save high expenditures for air conditioning.

Materials

In consideration of the demanding exterior conditions we only make use of top-grade materials for the manufacture of exterior roller blinds. Steel or aluminium alloys for the wind-up reels, aluminium provided with protective baked enamel for the blinds boxes and the bottom and guide mouldings. You may have all colour shades by your request.

Screen

The fabric is woven of glass fibre covered with a protective coating of PVC. Thanks to this material combination the Screen is extremely strong, washable, moisture-proof, resistant to high and low temperature and to rot, too. It is also non-fading, difficult to ignition, antistatic, anti-allergic and resistant to UV radiation. Most of all, however, it has unequalled thermal-insulating properties.

The Screen is produced in many colour shades and fabric density degrees. It can catch up to 92 per cent of solar thermal radiation and save as much as 40 per cent of expenditures for air-conditioning. A great advantage of the Screen consists in its transparency allowing view outward what preserves your contact with the outdoor world.

Soltis

Soltis is a variant make of the Screen fabric. It has similar technical specifications but it is not woven of glass fibre but of fibre made of polyester, however, provided with a protective coating of PVC, too. Also our offer of Soltis covers an extensity of colours and light transparency grades.

In addition to exterior roller blinds these materials can also be used for interior roller blinds, Japanese sliding panels, vertical blinds, awnings, sky-lights or universal systems (see survey of our product mix).

Control

Naturally, from the viewpoint of comfort and functionality electric drive is the most comfortable variant of control. The control proper is very convenient, actuation is effected by means of wall-fitted push-buttons, wireless remote controller or centrally.

In the event of mechanical control there is, as a rule, a handle extended through the window frame into the interior. In so far as the simplest execution is concerned you may control your roller blinds by simply gripping the bottom moulding with your hand.

Maintenance

Both the Screen and the Soltis models are washable easily. We recommend to clean them by means of a wet fine brush and to rinse them with pure water consecutively.
